What can I do if I have little credit history as a relatively new immigrant, and suddenly suffered from loan crunch really unexpectedly just after I had moved overseas, but still need a place to live that I can call home in this lovely Puget Sound? When my wife and I first found the property that we liked and decided to make an offer in March, we had no concern about the loan, since we already have had pre-approval from one big name lender a couple of weeks ago. That was the beginning of a long story. When I got back to that lender, they just said the situation had been changing every week, every day, and they were not able to loan, saying bye-bye. Since then, it took another 5 weeks before I reached to Dan finally. That was a long journey with 3 other lenders – day after day, I called, input online, sent fax, responded to their replies, then finally after a while with unsuccessful results, they saying they also did not have any good idea why that kind of things were happening, even though I’m working for global big name company with appropriate money down. Once Dan has dived in, he saved my day with prompt work and clear guidance. It was really amazing he completed all document work in just a couple of days though other lender took weeks. It was unfortunate that we lost quite a bit of time and energy during whole April, but anyway, we could successfully close the deal in mid May so I could finally become a homeowner! Thank you, Dan, it was really nice working with you this time!
